We can’t deny that things were a bit on the rough edges for TRON and their face Justin Sun.

All the eyes were on Justin Sun after he paid $4,6 million USD for a charity lunch with Warren Buffet.

Political Tention.

On the one hand, there is tension between East and West regarding the trade ban. Weighing things fairly, on the other hand, Justin Sun CEO of Tron.

Justin Sun has captivated the imagination of his followers somehow. The reason is that he has found support in the Crypto Space and his followers do believe he is just misunderstood at times.

Looking at all the facts at our disposal we can’t blame his reputation only on the West’s attitude towards him. Due to his marketing strategies, some people like him and others dislike him.

He is known for his occasional white lie and being too excited at times. Announcing things where the deal has not been closed? Maybe the fact that people have a soft spot for Jack Ma and Justin’s innocent face he could captivate the imagination of his followers.

Disbelief and Disappointment.

How could you miss out on the greatest opportunity of your life to sit at a table with Warren Buffet? The man who has compared bitcoin as a “delusion” and “rat poison squared” and has said bitcoin has “no unique value” We had maybe too high expectations.

The audacity to somehow mess up a 4.6 million dollar lunch or was politics and conspiracy really involved?

Now the 4.6 million dollar lunch is on ice for how long? Why was Justin Sun so dogie? He is back what can we expect? According to some of his tweets, it seems like good things are on the horizon for Tron and Bittorent.

Final Thoughts.

Finally, who do you want to trust “The crypto whiz kid” Justin Sun, the “prejudiced” media or “conspiracies” against Tron?

Quoting Tron: “TRON is dedicated to building the infrastructure for a truly decentralized Internet.”

A good leader does not give up when things go wrong and you are welcome to differ from me but hats off for Justin Sun he is still going strong.

Rap battle between Google and Huawei.

Background.

Phoning my eldest daughter this afternoon was a shock. She just started this year her first year at varsity. I was so amazed at her accuracy regarding the Google ban on Huawei.

It’s old news already, but it seems like two rappers on stage battling out. The audience is paying to listen to each word without getting value.

The Facts.

On 1 December Meng Wanzou, the daughter of the founder of Huawei was detained in Canada. Why was this move necessary?

Quoting my daughter now: “This is a typical example of governments influence or intervention in the macro-environment that place not only a burden on businesses but also the consumer.”

Imagine my daughter paid 5400ZAR. What about the consumer that paid 20 000ZAR?

Google’s ban on Huawei is going to impact the end-user negatively. The fact that no evidence came to the fore that Huawei is a national security bridge, is this security issues facts or fiction?

Traditionally people are afraid of advanced technology that is better than your own. Now I do not want to bad mouth but how many users are going to fall victim due to governments influence in this regard?

If you are tired of the rap battle, I don’t think there is a loser at this stage since negotiations may resume and parties may change their decisions.

Does Huawei have an Alternative to compete with Google?

The main concern that we are having is Huawei will have to be able to provide users all over the world not only with an alternative browser but approves. This battle is far from won, the question is if negotiations failed is there an alternative for Huawei to solve the problem?

Three Tips For Email Marketing.

Introduction.

Sadly the truth is that junk stays junk, and we cannot compare junk with something awesome or extraordinary. We can sit for hours and put a lot of effort into compiling junk, and then we ask why are we not seeing the results?

The answer is simply that we are doing things just to get them done, or we do things that please ourselves. This is one of the major mistakes we make because there is a lot of content on the net, some junk and some awesome stuff.

It’s the same as if you are opening your mailbox in the physical world. Before I reach the entrance of my home I have already disposed of the junk mail. The same applies to emails we open. Read, and delete the junk.

Tip 1.

The first tip is to focus on a good subject line. I mean something that someone, that may show or have an interest in your product or services, wants to open and not delete and spam. Focus on what your client wants and his or her needs.

Tip 2.

The second tip: look from their perspective. Address their pain points, stop trying to force somebody to buy or to execute an action you want. Focus on giving good and awesome content rather than selling because you want to retain the client to help him through the journey until he converts. I believe: allow 80% for the email’s content and 20% for marketing.

Your approach should be sincere. Focused on the client’s needs and not forcing something that your client or prospect does not need. During a sale, you may have developed the ability to sell something to a client that he or she does not need. You may feel like the winner by getting the sale but you are surely going to be the loser when it comes to retaining the client.

It is supposed to be a win-win situation and you may have the ability to sell eggs to chicken but you have failed to retain the client. However, if you want to sell eggs to chicken and you don’t care to retain the client and always want to be the winner, you are not going to be able to retain the client.

What client in their right mind will come back to you if you gave him a product or service he or she did not need or want? Give him or her the room or opportunity to need your product or service and acquire the skill to create the need, or want for the product. Learn the nurturing process that involves a sale and client retention.

Tip 3.

The third tip, you do not buy email lists. Buying email lists are just as good as spam. You’re reaching out to people that want your products or services and trying to force the issue.

People generally overlook the significant role email marketing plays in nurturing prospects through a sales funnel and that’s why email lists are being collected on most websites. When they have your email, they can market to you, and if they are doing it effectively, they may sell their products or services.

Blockchain Technology.

With blockchain technology, the effective nurture journey of prospects through a sales funnel will promote new dimensions to email marketing. Remember blockchain technology is still in an infancy stage. However, rapid development is happening in regard to approves that is being built.

Just imagine how exciting this will be on a decentralized web. The different futuristic features email approves may adopt. It’s definitely going to be more advanced in regard to spam boxes, spam filters, virus detection sorting your contacts and post into different groups, bulk posts, etc.

In the beginning, online shopping was a challenge for all, and now we are buying stuff online. Yes, shopping and spending money online has become part and parcel of modern life.

Value is being added to cryptocurrencies and my favorite line is to say wake up! Cryptocurrencies are becoming a mainstream asset for all! If you haven’t budgeted for it, operating digitally is going to change soon and we need to gear ourselves for the changes.

We have a responsibility towards ourselves to seriously take note of what is going on around us. There were rumors of a structure, Identity Overlay Network (ION) a decentralized identity network build on top of the bitcoin blockchain.

People felt the urge to buy bitcoin. What does it mean? Then suddenly US Senators are asking Zuckerberg questions about Facebook’s Libra project.

Cryptocurrencies are definitely getting attention and we need to see that Facebook is geared and did align themselves to a new dimension where people are going to use cryptocurrencies to do shopping online, send money family and friends, etc. this is immediate transactions on the blockchain.

Some of us are inclined not to think and just to do things on the spur of the moment. But I believe calculated decisions by powerhouses promoted assurance in cryptocurrencies and this is why cryptocurrencies look attractive like flowers blooming.

My humble opinion is that Facebook’s entrance on the blockchain is going to let other big social media platforms follow and enter the blockchain. Our social media platforms are going to influence e-commerce as we know it.

Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are going to make transactions a lot easier, so take note of it and be ready! This is really assuring people to invest as cryptocurrencies have become a mainstream asset nobody can deny.

What’s Happening in our Digital World?

Remembering my late father and friends when they arrived at home after a fishing trip and the laughter in my mom’s eyes and smile on her face when they were discussing the big one that got away.

My mom and I had many laughs through the years due to these conversations and most of the time their hand gestures in regard to the size of the fish, was what gave them away. Hoping you have a clear picture of this.

Yesterday, whilst I was busy with a Facebook post I was recalling these fishing trips because I was posting about authenticity, being genuine and authentic.

Previously, we did have discussions in this regard, but since we are all trying to make our mark in the Digital World we need to focus on being authentic in what we are doing. We need to focus on doing things in the fashion where we do not become the laughingstock of the Digital World.

That myth of faking it until we make it is a myth and also a lie. I don’t deny my struggles and the challenges I am facing because it does more harm than good especially when you are trying to establish a brand. Remember the similarities between our Physical World and our Digital World and how they integrate to our business or reflecting who we are as individuals.

There is this idea that we can separate our digital image or reputation from our Physical World but I think we all know how our flaunts or mistakes digitally becomes major discussions in our Physical World so my advice to walk with shoulders tall is starting with behaving in the same manner online and offline.

Another tip to remember it’s not so much about what you think or what you want, rather than knowing who your prospective client is and where they are feeling the pain.

Addressing our clients needs will over time contribute to our success and our online reputation or let me rather say our online as well as offline reputation.

We lose interest at times when we are engaging with theory because it can become overwhelming.

Our aim is not only to get small business owners, online entrepreneurs, marketers, etc. interested in these topics but to develop a passion for it.

The Four Main Crowdfunding Types.

It means you or your company’s intention is to repay your contributors who agreed to lend you the money is expecting something more binding. It’s more of a contractual agreement with timeframes and set interest rates to repay your contributors.

Equity Based Crowdfunding.

Your contributors expect a piece of your business or company. Return on investment in terms of shares or membership interest plays a big role.

Social Media Platforms On The Blockchain

When you wake in the morning, do you have the grateful feeling you that a new day dawns upon you? Is there excitement despite all the challenges that you are going to face today, that there is an opportunity to learn from our mistakes.

Awesome things are happening each day on the blockchain and sometimes we are just missing it, and we as marketers are missing out on an opportunity and we can not afford it.

We need to take note of developments and I am actually shocked that my discoveries to discover this decentralized approve took me more nearly three years to discover and if it wasn’t for my best friend I think it would have even taken me a lot longer.

My humble opinion is that when you invest in startups on the blockchain you are fully aware of the risks. Premature reports about poor support and money that people lost, I think is unfair.  Even asking why to opt the route on the blockchain for a social media platform I think is pretty stupid there was nothing wrong with the idea.

Another claim about friends, I mean where to start with your startup, amongst friends? What is wrong with it. If I am getting $0.01 against someone who did invest and are taking the risk that gets more. What is the story? It’s stupidity to want the same and so what if they were friends as soon as they invested they became investors.

The intention of a decentralized social media platform was the motivation behind it, to create something unique.

Claiming you know something that you don’t know, on what do you base your claims? It’s silly if you take risks and lose a bit money you can’t base your claims on that.

Not every single startup on the blockchain is a scam. A lot of startups starts off on a gravel road until they reach the tar. Is there something wrong with that or is there more to it?

Steemit entered the social media market with the concept of sharing revenue with its users has been doing that so I am still wondering where is the scam? After nearly three years look how they are prospering, wasn’t it a bit premature judgement?

How can startups get somewhere on the blockchain if people don’t do some homework and just out vote everything as a scam? Steemit is a social media platform and the facts you get paid for good content  and nobody is forcing you in. It’s a choice.

If you do your homework you shall find Steemit wasn’t just smooth sailing all the way and even Steam had some rough times but it’s back this year.

We shall have a lot fewer regrets if we had the ability to forecast the future.

How many times do we look back at mistakes of decisions with a lot of regrets, saying: “If I could only knew the outcome of my decision”.These things are happening each day in our ordinary life that we make decisions that we regret.

Ignorance plays a big role in this because we do not always forecast or predict how our decisions will impact the future. Marketing is a very specialized field and incompetence are being dealt with harshly. You either deliver or produce the “goodies” or you are out by the front door.

A new technology, Blockchain, surfaced that is changing our digital world.  If we know how this technology is going to change our future.  Are we going to make an effort to understand how it is going to influence the way we conduct Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing in the near future?

During common discussions about blockchain we do find that the majority of people we deal with thinks mostly in terms of cryptocurrencies and blockchain as a method of payment.

I don’t think you need a scientist to be able to make a prediction to recognize the latest trends and how blockchain technology is evolving. The great stuff that we think are going to happen say fifty years from now are being launched at present.

It’s about time to recognize that there are applications running on the blockchain that has the potential to modify or expand the fields we are working in and that things might even come like a rush and may disrupt what we think we are doing.

Stats are proving who is ruling but in the digital marketing and the social media marketing realm, in the dark side on the blockchain, things are happening that we need to notice.
